It’s one of the most amazing experiences that you will have in AquaRio and it’s one of the most required activities. It consists in 30 minutes in our biggest aquarium, the oceanic one, with more than 2000 animals. You will meet our famous animals, such as Margarida, Ritinha and Donald, our sharks! It’s important to say that there is no submersion during the activity.

The minimum age to participate in the snorkeling activity is 12 years old, being necessary parental permission. If the participant is less than 18 years old, he has the right to bring a companion along, who will wait at the reception area. Important: make sure to bring the birth certificate of the participant who is less than 18 years old, in case of coming without the legally responsible person.

It’s not allowed to do the activity using moisturizing cream and it’s not allowed to use objects or accessories that can fall on the aquarium (earrings, necklaces bracelets or rings, for example).

It won’t be allowed the participation of people who has healing process (of scars, tattoos or piercings), nursing mothers or with any medical restrictions.

No, it’s not. It’s not necessary to know how to swim and there’s no need to have a diving certificate.

It’s allowed to use cell phones or cameras, since the device is strapped to the participant’s body during the activity. The use of selfie stick is not allowed.

• In case of having a big hair, we recommend you to keep your hair tight;

The companion must wait on the AquaRio Lobby or the companion can buy a ticket to visit AquaRio, which opens everyday 10am.

The tolerance is 15 minutes. In case of the participants arrive later, they can reschedule the activity for another day, but it's subject to availability.

It’s not possible to wear glasses during the activity. We suggest people to wear contact lenses or to bring their own snorkeling mask instead.

Yes. The participants can cancel their participation until 7 days after contracting the snorkeling activity. They must send a request by e- mail to [email protected].

Yes, since the reschedule request is sent to the e-mail address [email protected] at least 5 day before the day of the activity. The reschedule is possible to another day that is available.

In case of no-show, there is no possibility of refund or reschedule the activity to another day.
